New Ross, set on a steep hill overlooking the River Barrow, is one of the oldest towns in County Wexford, Ireland. Its narrow winding streets give it an old world charm. New Ross is steeped in history and is an exellent centre for touring the surrounding area. There are many places of interest in the town such as the 13th century church of St.Mary and the Three Bullet Gate, in which three cannon balls from Cromwell's bombardment lodged.

Dunbrody: The original Dunbrody was a three - masted barque built in Quebec, Canada, for the Graves family of New Ross, Co.Wexford in 1845. She carried many emigrants to the new world from 1845 - 1870. The Dunbrody Project involved the construction of a full scale sea - going replica. The Dunbrody was finished in early 2001 and has been opened to visitors since 1st May, 200 at the quaysude in New Ross.
